This page describes what the monobid marketplace records when you use it. It is a summary of the full policy that applies to your organisation's agreement with monobid.
What is recorded
Your bids, and the identity that placed them: your email address, your user id, and the organisation you were acting as. Bids are an auction record and are kept for as long as the sale record itself — they cannot be deleted without destroying the audit trail that proves who won.
Attempts that were refused are recorded too, with the reason. This is how we can show that a rule was applied consistently.
What other people see
Other bidders see amounts, times, and a pseudonym that is stable within a single lot and meaningless outside it. They do not see your name, your email, or your organisation. Sellers see the same, until a lot closes — the winner is disclosed to the seller, because a sale needs two identified parties.
Your session
A single cookie holds an opaque handle to a session on our servers. It contains no personal data. Signing out ends the session immediately, on the server, not just in your browser.
